More Wooly Socks

I've been busy knitting for my Christmas stash.  I love watching the colours change and seeing my work transform before my eyes.  Did you know that one average size woman's sock has about 20,000 stitches?  That's a lot of meditating!

Keith's Hat

Keith gets a new hat every year and 2011 was no exception.
This one was a little more challenging than most, but lots of fun to knit in baby alpaca.

Penny's Socks

Another pair of cozy socks for me.

Deep Peace Shawl

This was so much fun to knit. I love the change of pattern for the centre panel. Not sure who the recipient is yet. I've added it to my basket of gifts to be.

Cowl for Tomomi

The Noble Cowl pattern by Emily Kausalik was a fun weekend project that allowed me to get creative with a lacy pattern. The stitch pattern is comprised of a shield surrounded with openwork, providing an interesting lacy design with a feminie touch.
